This initiative, driven by the 36th Students’ Union Government (SUG) executives under the leadership of Mr Joseph Ologundudu, aims to address the pressing accommodation needs of the university’s student body.

This development is a testament to the proactive efforts of the Students’ Union in enhancing the living conditions and overall student experience on campus.

Located beside the Pyramid Hostel on the University of Ilorin Main Campus, the new Student Union Hostel is strategically placed to offer convenient access to university facilities, fostering a conducive environment for academic and social activities.

During the ceremony, Professor Egbewole commended the Students’ Union for their initiative and commitment to improving student welfare.

He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the challenges faced by the university community, particularly in the area of student accommodation.
