The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has released of results of the Professional Examination for Midwives held in September 2020.
This is following the approval of the Honourable Minister of Health for the release of results of the Professional Examinations for Midwives.
A breakdown of the results show that Seven – hundred and sixty – six (766) candidates were successful in the examination representing 94% pass among the Post-Basic Midwives.
For the Basic Midwives, Sixty-four (64) candidates were successful in the examination representing 81% pass.
In the case of Community Midwives, Forty-three (43) candidates were successful in the examination representing 77% pass.
Heads of the training institutions are therefore directed to check for the result of their institution(s) online as from Thursday 29th October, 2020.
A statement from the council added that, “Successful candidates are hereby directed to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council Nigeria Portal (portal.nmcn.gov.ng) to Friday 30th October, 2020.
“Please note that online registration formalities including payment is to be completed within ninety (90) days. Also note that late registration attracts a penalty fee of Thirteen Thousand Naira (N13,000.00) only per applicant after ninety (90) days.”
