Ahead of the forthcoming Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has started notifying candidates of the examination schedules.
Information available to EduCeleb.com indicates that the notification is being distributed via individual candidate’s email addresses.
Recall that JAMB had earlier announced February 26 as the date for the Mock UTME.
It is not yet clear if JAMB would be announcing a new date other than its earlier scheduled March 9th to March 17th, 2018 time for the UTME. But there are strong indications it would, since the nonacademic staff of universities are still on strike.
Only candidates who originally chose to write the Mock exam would be receiving the email.
The said mail would be received through the email each candidate used in registering.
Its content is the JAMB Mock Examination Slips for 2018 with which candidates would be allowed entry into their designated exam centres.
JAMB CBT Offline Software
Meanwhile, candidates can download the JAMB CBT practice software to boost preparation ahead of the upcoming exams.
This software contains past questions and answers spanning about 18 years in various subjects.
Candidates also have access to study questions on the literature text (In Dependence).
Through the software, they could track their individual progress as they practice questions with it more. Beyond downloading it on their computers with internet, it is entirely usable offline after installation.
Candidates who wish to use the software can read more about it and download it by clicking here.
