The Governing Council of the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, has approved the promotion of 43 lecturers to the rank of Professor and 15 lecturers to the rank of Reader.
The decision was taken at the Council’s first quarter meeting for 2026, held on April 13, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Amb. Baba Ahmad Jidda (OFR).
According to a statement sent to EduCeleb.com on April 14, 2026 by the Media Aide to the Vice-Chancellor, Sani Lawal Maqarphy, the promotions cut across various academic disciplines, reflecting the institution’s commitment to strengthening teaching, research, and academic excellence.
