The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has extended its registration exercise for private candidates.
Private candidates were suppose to write the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in November.
The examining body extended its registration for private candidates to 30th October, 2020.
This was stated on its Twitter handle on Friday.
The tweet read thus: “ICYMI: WASSCE FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES, 2020 – SECOND SERIES: FURTHER EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD.
“This is to inform intending candidates that there has been a further extension of the registration period from the initial closing date of October 23, 2020, to October 30, 2020.”
