Muhammad Kamalud-deen University (MKU), Ilorin, has achieved a full 100% success rate in the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise conducted in November/December 2025, with all 13 academic programmes presented receiving full accreditation.

According to official results released by the NUC, the achievement marks a significant milestone for the institution, which commenced academic operations only about three years ago. The outcome places MKU among a small number of recently licensed universities that have secured full programme accreditation within a relatively short period.

The accreditation confirms that the university’s programmes meet national benchmarks in curriculum design, staffing, infrastructure, learning resources, and governance standards.

University management described the outcome as a validation of its academic direction and quality assurance systems, noting that it strengthens confidence in the institution among students, parents, and stakeholders in higher education.

It also noted that the result provides a foundation for future expansion in academic offerings, faculty development, research, and community engagement.

The university attributed the success to the contributions of its Governing Council and Senate, as well as the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor and management team. Academic and non-academic staff were commended for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across all programmes.
