The Lagos State Ministry of Education through the Lagos State Examinations Board has announced new dates for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), the Entrance Examination into Lagos State Model Colleges / Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools and the Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS), known as common entrance into Lagos State Public Secondary Schools for the conduct of Year 2021 Examinations.
Mrs Abosede Adelaja, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Education disclosed this in a public notice also made available to the Parents / Guardians, the Principals of Public and Approved Private Schools in the State.
Screening Test, which is Entrance Examination into Lagos State Model Colleges / Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools, initially slated for 28th June – 3rd July, 2021 will now hold by 15th – 17th and 19th July, 2021 at the designated CBT Centres in the State. The examination is strictly Computer Based Testing.
All duly registered Applicants should revisit the Lagos State Examinations Board Portal ( examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng) from 1st July, 2021 to reprint their Examination Slips for details of the Examinations.
The Lagos State BECE is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 7th to Wednesday, 14th July, 2021 in the Candidates’ respective Schools.
Whereas, the Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS), known as common entrance into Lagos State Public Secondary Schools will hold tentatively on Saturday, 31st July, 2021 at the designated Centres across the Six Education Districts in the State.
The authorities at the ministry advised all candidates to adhere strictly to the guidelines and protocols of COVID-19 Pandemic.
