Apply: Oyo govt wants vendors for own school feeding programme

The Oyo State government is inviting food vendors to apply to be part of the proposed state Home-Grown School Feeding programme.

In a statement released on Monday, the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said it wanted qualified persons win good health across the state to apply for the opportunity.

EduCeleb.com gathered that this initiative is different from the federal-run National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme.

“Oyo State Government now invites Caterers (cooks) to indicate interest in providing the services of cooking foods for the pupils in designated public primary schools across the state,” the statement read in part.

Interested persons are expected to have a Current Personal income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 year; Medical certificate of fitness from a recognised hospital; and a Sworn Affidavit for not convicted in any criminal offences.

Also, they are to submit a letter of consent to allow verification of documents submitted and an Evidence of payment of Government Development Levy.

A letter of interest is to be submitted along with the above stated documents on or before Monday, 25th November, 2019.

Such application were to be addressed to the Office of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Secretariat, lbadan.
