Students banned from taking pictures with lecturers’ vehicles

Federal University Gusau (FUGUSAU) has prohibited students from snapping pictures with staff cars.

It said that this has become a security threat to the staff affected.

It also maintain the need for students to comply with the university’s dress code.

A notice placed around its campus signed by the university’s chief security officer indicated it.

This is to inform all members of the University Community and the general public that snapping pictures with staffs cars vehicles by the Students is strictly prohibited.

It was observed with dismay that Students are snapping pictures and posting them on social media, thereby causing unnecessary security threats and exposing their identity to the world.

It is further observed that some Students are dressing against the Dress Code of the University. Students are advised to comply with the University’s rules and Regulations.

Henceforth, Students are further advised to adhere strictly to this directive as punitive measures will be taken against erring Students.
