Oyo TESCOM postpones appointment letters collection

The Oyo state Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has postponed the collection of appointment letters till further notice.

Mrs Bisi Oderinde, the Permanent Secretary at TESCOM made this known in an announcement released by the commission, on Tuesday, in Ibadan, the state capital.

According to the release, the new date for the collection will be announced soon.

The collection of appointment was earlier scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

EduCeleb.com recalls that the state government had recruited teaching and non-teaching staff to fill the vacancies in the public secondary schools in the state.

The recruitment has been with controversies as some applicants among the persons with disabilities felt they were not fully included.

That is aside multiple complaint of favouritism and lack of transparency.

It is not immediately clear if the times ahead would see to the resolution of the controversies surrounding the recruitment exercise.
