The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has directed that artificial limbs be provided to a corps member, Nuruddeen Tahir who lost his hand in an auto crash.

The corper who is an indigene of Kano state had one hand before going to the NYSC orientation camp in Jalingo but lost the second hand in an accident shortly after passing out from the camp.

Nuruddeen along with 18 other corps members was on 8th July involved in an accident on their way to Gembu town, the headquarters of Sardauna local government area where they were posted for their national service.

In a statement in Jalingo, the NYSC coordinator in the state, Mrs Florence Yaakugh said the attention of the NYSC in the state was drawn to the appeal made by some persons on social media for money to treat Nuruddeen.
