The Muslim Lecturers Association of Nigeria (MLA) has unveiled a new corporate logo as part of efforts to reposition the association and reinforce its commitment to academic excellence, ethical leadership, and national development.
The new logo was officially launched during a virtual ceremony held via Zoom, with members of the association participating from across the country.
The event, themed “Identity, Knowledge and Service: Unveiling the New Face of MLA Nigeria,” provided an opportunity for members to reflect on the significance of the association’s new identity and its future direction.
Speaking during the unveiling, the National President of the association, Professor AbdWasiu Ajagbe, described the occasion as a significant milestone in the organisation’s history.
“The new logo represents a renewed vision, fresh energy, and a strengthened commitment to excellence,” he said.
According to him, the rebranding reflects the association’s evolving strategic direction and renewed focus on service.
Ajagbe added that the new corporate identity would be integrated into all aspects of the association’s activities, including its programmes, communication platforms, partnerships, and overall operations.
He noted that the initiative underscores the association’s commitment to promoting scholarship, integrity, and meaningful contributions to national development through higher education.
The unveiling marks a new phase in the association’s efforts to strengthen its institutional identity while advancing its mission of supporting Muslim academics and fostering excellence in Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.
