Hult Prize at LASU appoints Jeariogbe as staff adviser

The Hult Prize at Lagos State University (LASU) has appointed Mr. Olaniyi Jeariogbe, the Information and Public Relations Officer and Head of Media Relations at the University’s Center for Information and Public Relations (CIPR), as a staff adviser. The appointment was announced during a courtesy visit to Mr. Jeariogbe’s office at CIPR in LASU.

The visit was attended by key members of the Hult Prize LASU team, including the 2024/2025 Campus Director, Samuel Olomu, Assistant Campus Director, Mariam Adegbola, and the immediate past Campus Director and Assistant Campus Director, Olawuyi Gideon and Stephanie Ani, respectively.

Expressing his excitement about the appointment, Mr. Olomu stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jeariogbe to the Hult Prize LASU team. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the university’s communications and public relations will be invaluable as we work to drive social impact through the Hult Prize competition.”

Mr. Jeariogbe, known for his vital role in managing LASU’s internal and external communications, will leverage his expertise to enhance the Hult Prize programme’s visibility and engagement within the LASU community.

In his response, Mr. Jeariogbe said, “I am honored to be appointed to the Hult Prize LASU leadership team. The Hult Prize is an incredible platform for driving social innovation, and I look forward to contributing my quota, skills, and knowledge to support the team’s effort in making a lasting impact on our campus and beyond.”

He added, “I have always been saying this; keep moving, keep working, keep walking, keep pushing, keep trying, keep hoping, keep believing, keep keeping the faith. Eyes are watching! The Hult Prize at LASU is part of the global Hult Prize Foundation, which challenges university students to address some of the world’s most pressing issues through innovative solutions.
