The Academic Board of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede on Friday suspended the Rector of the Institution, Dr John Taiwo Adekolawole

The embattled rector had been in a running battle with staff members and other stakeholders who had accused him of corruption among other things.
Mr IT Adelabu, Deputy Rector in charge of administration, has been appointed as the Acting Rector in the mean time.
