The management of the University of Lagos has announced the requirements for post-UTME screening for the 2018/2019 academic session.
It said that the exercise would commence from the 23rd of July and conclude on 3rd of August, 2018, according to information made available to EduCeleb.com.
According to the Registrar of UNILAG, Mrs Taiwo Ipaye, only candidates who made the university their first choice during registration with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored 200 and above among other conditions could be considered. There is also the age limit of 16 by October 1st on every candidate too.
In her words, “Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2018/2019 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
“Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October, 2018 are not eligible and need not apply.
“Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Screening will not be considered for admission.”
An registration procedure is expected to be followed by all prospective students. Also, a sum of N2000 would be billed from each candidate for the exercise.
She added that Post-UTME aptitude tests will hold between Monday 6th August, 2018 to Friday 10th August, 2018. Candidates would be notified of the times theirs is scheduled to hold after registering on the university’s portal.
Registration procedure for UNILAG post-UTME screening 2018
Eligible candidates should log on to University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng. Thereafter, they should take the following steps:
- Click on Admissions
- Click on Post-UTME Application
- Login with UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password.
- Generate and print payment advice
- commercial bank to make payment or pay online.
- Return to the University portal to complete the screening form.
- Print Post-UTME Examination Pass
