The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has got a new Bursar. His name is Nurudeen Olalekan Ajani Lawal.
A statement made available to EduCeleb.com from the Deputy Registrar, Information Unit, Toyin Adebule indicated that the appointment was done on Friday, 6th October, 2017 by the Governing Council of the University at its meeting in Lagos.
Lawal has served as Chief Accountant at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (1997-2009) and is the current Director of Finance (2009 till date).
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and several other professional bodies. He is happily married and blessed with children.
His appointment will take effect from Friday, November 3, 2017 when the tenure of Lateef Alani Odekunle, the incumbent bursar, expires.
