UNILAG 2024 post-UTME screening registration begins

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the online registration dates for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The registration period will be open from Monday, August 5, 2024, to Friday, August 23, 2024, according to a statement from Mrs. Ọlakunle E. Makinde, Acting Registrar and Secretary to Council.

Eligibility Criteria

  • First Choice Candidates: Only those who selected UNILAG as their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 200 or above.
  • O/Level Requirements: Candidates must have five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2024.
  • CAPS Upload: Candidates must upload their O/Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by September 9, 2024.
  • Former Students: Students whose admissions were previously withdrawn due to poor performance or absence can re-apply for a different program.
  • Expelled Students: Any student expelled from UNILAG is not eligible for readmission.

Registration Process

  1. Visit the UNILAG website.
  2. Click on “Admissions” and then “Post-UTME Application.”
  3. Log in using your UTME application number and surname (in lowercase) as the password.
  4. Generate and print the payment advice.
  5. Pay the N2,000 screening fee at any commercial bank or online.
  6. Complete the screening form on the university portal.
  7. Print the Post-UTME Examination Pass.

Post-UTME Test Details

  • The online aptitude test will be held from Monday, September 2, 2024, to Friday, September 6, 2024.

Important Notes

  • UNILAG has a strict no-tolerance policy for drug abuse. Newly admitted students who test positive for drug use will have their admissions withdrawn.
