Tinubu names dozens to governing councils of federal tertiary institutions

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of dozens of individuals into the governing councils of federal universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country.

This latest round of appointments, announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, takes immediate effect and aims to strengthen governance, oversight, and policy direction in Nigeria’s higher education institutions.
