The Achiever Ambassadors Essay Competition 1439/2018: Call for Entries


The Kwara State Chapter of The Achiever Ambassadors has announced the call for entries for the 1439 (2018) Essay Competition.

The essay competition which is organised exclusively for tertiary institution is part of The Achiever Ambassadors’ educational initiative which is tailored towards reigniting the writing and reading culture in our society. It is also to encourage socio-political awareness and intellectual development amongst students of tertiary institutions.


Prizes would be presented to winners.

Eligibility Criteria

Entrants for the competition must be students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria

Entries would be accepted mainly from Muslims, but others may submit too

Topic of the Essay Competition​

The topic for the essay is:

​Category A: Islam and Moral: An essential tool for Societal Reformation​
(Open for all Muslims in Tertiary Institution)

​Category B: Effect of Brain Drain to Nigeria Economy​
(Open to all Students in Tertiary Institution)

Guides for Applicants

  • The essay should not be less than 600words and not more than 1200
    With 1.5 line space using 12 font size of font phase of Time News Roman
  • All entries should be sent by email to:

Prize Presentation

The winners of the competition will be announced and awarded at The Achiever Ambassadors Ramadan Public Lecture which is scheduled to hold on June 3rd at Galad College beside Graceland Unilorin Road, Tanke Ilorin, Kwara State.


The deadline for submission of essay entries is 30th April, 2018
