Two of the suspects allegedly involved in the brutal murder of Associate Professor Karl Kwaghger in Makurdi at the weekend have been arrested in Karu, Nasarawa.
Kwaghger was of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
The suspects were said to have been arrested at a car stand while attempting to sale the victim’s car .
Kwaghger was stabbed to death in Makurdi on Saturday night by men who made away with his Avenza vehicle and phones.
The Nation newspaper reported that the suspects were being conveyed to Makurdi at press time for further investigations.
The paper also revealed that the deceased, apart from his lecturing job at University of Agriculture (UAM) Mechanical Engineering Department, was into car sales and had a car stand opposite BARNADA office .
He was said to be into money lending and his brutal killing led credence to rumours that one his customers might have borrowed money for business and could not pay back .
There were different theories over death of the professor married to a customs officer.
