The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has announced the appointment of Engr. Mustapha Tajudeen Olumide as its new National Amir.
Born on January 12, 1974, Engr. Mustapha holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Structural Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
He is a registered professional member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), exemplifying excellence in his field while dedicating himself to community service and leadership within the MSSN.
A Lifelong Commitment to MSSN
Engr. Mustapha’s journey with the MSSN began during his secondary school days when he served as the Amir (Imam) of MSSN AUD Secondary School, Ado, in the 1990/1991 academic year.
His leadership trajectory continued as he held several key roles:
- Naibul Amir, MSSN Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, in 1997.
- Amir, Ado Area Council (1994–1995).
- Amir, Ekiti State Area Unit (2002–2011).
- National Secretary General, MSSN National Headquarters (2018–2021).
Today, he stands as the 38th National Amir, bringing decades of experience and dedication to the position.
Personal Life and Community Service
Engr. Mustapha is married to two wives and blessed with children. He balances his family life with an unwavering commitment to his faith and the development of his community through MSSN initiatives.
With his extensive experience and strong leadership background, Engr. Mustapha Tajudeen Olumide is expected to usher in a new era of progress for the MSSN, inspiring the next generation of Muslim students across Nigeria.
