The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released guidelines for candidates who registered for and wrote the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and may wish to upgrade to Direct Entry.
According the guidelines made available to EduCeleb.com, this upgrade particularly applies to those who later obtained higher qualification in forms of A-levels or its equivalent.
The examining body says such upgrade attracts no additional fee aside what was already paid during UTME registration.

Such candidates who wish to convert their UTME to DE should visit the JAMB efacility at jamb.org.ng. Thereafter, they are to login to their profile on the efacility and complete the form named “Convert UTME to DE”.
