The Osun State government has announced that only the final year students of the College of Technology, Ilesa are to resume 21st September.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, on Saturday.
According to Mr Isamotu, the variation of the resumption timeline will afford the management the opportunity to upscale safety protocols around the College.
The statement reads in part: “The decision to stagger the date of resumption for the College was reached after due consultation and deliberation to ensure that all Covid-19 safety protocols of the Federal Ministry of Health and the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) are met.
“Announcement of the date of resumption of other students will be made in due course.”
