Mr Ade Adeyemi-Adejolu, its Director, Protocol, Information and Public Relations, stated in Ado-Ekiti on Monday that the school was established with the approval of the Academic Board of the polytechnic.
According to him, the school will take off with the Department of Agricultural Technology, Department of Fisheries Technology and that of Horticulture Technology.
Before the establishment of the school, the three departments were in the polytechnic’s School of Engineering Technology.

Students of the polytechnic are to start writing their second-semester examination for the 2019/2020 academic session on Monday.
“A decision to this effect was part of the resolutions reached at the 377th meeting of the institution’s Academic Board, held on February 17 and February 24.
“All impediments capable of assailing the examination have been resolved.
“With everything set for the second-semester examination, preparations have also been put into gear for the commencement of the 2020/2021 academic session on April 2021,’’ he added.
