BusinessDay Education Summit holds November 28

All is set for West Africa’s most authoritative financial/business publication, BusinessDay Media (Nigeria) Limited to hold its event tagged the “BusinessDay Education Summit” on November 28, 2017.

According to a statement from the media organisation, the programme is being held in collaboration with Nigeria LNG Limited, Chevron Nigeria Limited, and Sidmach Technologies Limited. 

It added that the event was to drive conversation on education that will prepare Nigerians for the digital economy. The event shall be held at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

BusinessDay is bringing together the finest minds in education sector: policy makers, seasoned educationists, employers of labour and commercial private education investors to highlight what the challenges are and formulate very clear 21 Century solutions.

Expected dignitaries

In attendance will be, the Minister of State for Education, Professor Anthony Anwuka,  a former Minister of Education, Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, Board Chairman of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Professor Pia Obanya,  the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Education Mr Obafela Bank-Olemoh and CEO of Andela, Mr Seni Sulyman, among others.

The Summit brings together seasoned educationists, curriculum developers, and captains of industry, policy makers, parents, education managers, minister of education and state commissioners of education, researchers and consultants, entrepreneurs with training programmes, representatives of education funds and the general public,” the statement read.
