Babcock University issues disclaimer on fake payment plan

Authorities at Babcock University have alerted the public of a fake notice of payment being circulated through emails to unsuspecting students.

A statement issued by the Joshua Suleiman, the university’s Director of Marketing and Communication over the weekend stated this.

The full statement is presented below.

The attention of the University has been drawn to some mails purportedly sent from Babcock University’s Director of Marketing& Communication on class resumption for the 2020/2021 resumption for fresh students as well as fees.

This is to inform the general public that the contents therein are FRAUDULENT.

Be informed that the University does NOT require students to pay for use ot library nor does it ask for a fixed fee for annual excursion andnN40,000 for COVID-19 tests, The Scammer also attempted to legitimize the said document with a faked signature.

Members of the public are hereby duly warned in their own interest to discountenance this information as it contains no iota of truth or fact.

The University will never ask our students to pay any fee that is not captured on our official website.
