The University of Lagos (UNILAG) management has extended the schedule of its post-Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (Post-UTME) screening application.
This is according to a statement by the university’s Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council, Taiwo Ipaye.
Ipaye stated that the Post-UTME screening application was extended to Friday, 22nd September, 2017. The extension is not unconnected to the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Recall that the university had earlier announced that the Post-UTME screening application was to span between Thursday, 31st August, 2017 and Friday, 15th September, 2017. The extension may as well be an opportunity for applicants yet to complete their online applications to do so.
The university requires that score not less than 200 in their UTME and possess five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Only those who participate in the Post-UTME Screening would likely be considered for admission.
