The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) written by Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS 3) students nationwide.
Candidates who sat for the exam could now access the results through their respective schools at NECO state offices nationwide.
This is contained in a memo released on Friday, October 30, 2020 by National Examinations Council (NECO) to junior secondary schools nationwide that the result for the 2020 BECE is out for collection.
The Examination body had earlier this week released another memo for the re-introduction of History subject at BECE level as from 2021.
It added that this is sequel to the commencement of the implementation of the new curriculum for the teaching and learning of the subject in 2018.
“Schools are hereby advised to get in touch with their state offices in their domain for further information,” the memo stated.
Recall that NECO had to suspend the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) following the breakdown of law and order amidst the #EndSARS protests against police brutality.
No new date has been fixed for the continuation of the exam suspended till further notice.
It is expected that a new time table would be released to that effect in the days ahead.
In another development, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is expected to release the results of candidates who wrote its SSCE in the first week of November 2020.
