The authorities of the University of Lagos have approved 25th January as the resumption date for academic activities.
Head of the Media Unit of the university, Mrs Olufadeke Akinleye , said the institution would commence online classes on the said date due to the second wave of COVID-19.
In a copy of the revised academic calendar for the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic session obtained by our correspondent on Wednesday, lectures would end 5th March.
It stated that the first Semester examination would begin on 15th March and end on 1st April.
While students are expected to resume 12th April, the first -semester result would be considered by the University Senate on 28th April.
Meanwhile, the University had its 2019 convocation postponed indefinitely and it had now billed to hold March last year to between 23rd and 25th February.
