The Muslim Parents Forum of the University of Ibadan, International School, Ibadan (UI-ISI), has advised Hijab-wearing female Muslim students to excel in their studies and be good ambassadors of Islam.

The Chairman of the Forum, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, gave the advice on Saturday in Ibadan.

He said that that was “the pathway to reaching the peak of their chosen careers”.

TheNewsZenith reports that Balogun gave the advice during the first phase of Hijab distribution to over 100 female Muslim students of the school at the UI Central Mosque, Ibadan.

He said the Hijab has come to stay as part of the school uniform.

This is following the May 23 Oyo State High Court judgement.

The judgement allows any willing Muslim girl to freely adorn the hijab on their uniform.

Balogun stressed that the Forum is committed to giving all willing female Muslim students a Hijab to exercise their freedom of religion.
