OOU elects deputy vice-chancellors

The Senate at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has elected deputy vice-chancellors for the university.

Professor Deji Agboola has been re-elected by the OOU Senate as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, for the next two years.

He was unanimously elected as DVC during the University Senate meeting held on Wednesday, 18th November, 2020.

Also at the meeting, Professor Charles Olufemi Adekoya was unanimously elected as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, for the next two years.

A Professor of International Human Rights Law and Clinical Legal Education, Adekoya was the Dean, Faculty of Law until his emergence.

He succeeds Professor (Mrs) Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole whose tenure ended in August, after successfully serving for two consecutive terms of four years.

The new appointments are to be ratified by the Governing Council of the University at its next sitting.
