The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has further extended the registration deadline for its 2026 November/December examinations to midnight on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The extension covers the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.
The registration deadline had previously been set for Friday, October 2, before the latest extension was approved by the NABTEB Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Mohammed Aminu Mohammed.
According to an internal memorandum dated October 1, 2026, the extension was communicated by the Director, Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.
NABTEB said the latest extension, like the previous extensions granted for the 2026 November/December examination series, would not attract any additional registration fee.
The Board therefore advised candidates not to pay extra charges on account of the extension.
Prospective candidates who are yet to register or complete their registration have been urged to use the additional time to conclude the process before the new deadline.
NABTEB cautioned that no further extension may be considered after Thursday, October 8.
