IAUE loses first female vice-chancellor

The pioneer and first female Vice-Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, River state, Professor Rosemund Dienye Green-OsahOgulu has passed on.

Green-OsahOgulu, who died on Friday, March 26, 2021, was a native of Grand Bonny in Bonny L.G.A of the state.

She joined the institution in 1981 as a Teaching Assistant Lecturer and rose to the rank of a Professor in 2006.

She gave the seventh inaugural lecture of the university with the topic ” Sciencing: A key to Attitudinal Change” on Thursday, October 12, 2017.

Until her demise, she was a Professor of Science Education in the Department of Integrated Science, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences.
