The ACADIP Institute of Comparative Religion Studies (AICOS) has announced plans to commence the registration of new students for the first quarter of 2018.
AICOS is an initiative of the Academy of Islamic Propagation aimed at promoting and teaching religious understanding among people of various faiths.
Students admitted through the programme would be immersed in video, audio, textual and practical approaches to comparative religious studies.
Registration opens on 14th January, 2018 for the first quarter of 2018 spanning between February and April, according to its management.
It added that the registration fee would be reduced from the usual 7,500 Naira to 5,000 Naira for whoever registers at the venue of its first Convocation Ceremony billed to hold at Kakanfo Conference Centre, Ibadan on the day.
The management said this reduction was in commemoration of the “Special Reception of over 400 Reverts to Islam/First AICOS Convocation.”
Application forms would be available at the Convocation ground and payments could be done in forms of either cash payments or instant online transfers.
Immediately after, students would receive their portal registration PIN.
“Prospective students are advised to be financially prepared while attending the Event, as this is an opportunity for instant Registration,” the institute added.
Available Courses
There are three courses available on the AICOS platform. The courses are self-paced, giving room for students to learn at their convenience since moat lecturers are delivered online.
These are Islamic Religious Knowledge, Islamic Dawah Methodology and Comparative Religion. The first two are prerequisites for the third.
