The one thousand primary school teachers newly recruited by the Ondo State government will be posted to different schools across the 18 local government areas in the next two weeks.
The Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr Akinbamidele Akinnagbe said the new teachers had collected their letters of appointment.
The new teachers are to fill the vacant positions in the primary schools across the 18 local government areas.
Mr Akinnagbe reiterated the commitment of the present administration at giving premium attention to the primary school system which is the foundation of education.
The Permanent Secretary commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his approval of the counterpart fund paved the room to access its allocation from UBEC.
