The Governor of Lagos State, and Visitor to the Lagos State University, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has approved the recommendation of the Surrogate Council of the University (Special Adviser on Education) to appoint Mr Emmanuel Fanu as Acting Registrar, Lagos State University.
Mr Fanu was until his new appointment, the Deputy Registrar and Secretary, Post-Graduate School of the University.
His appointment will run until the selection process of the 9th Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University is concluded.
This is according to statement by Mr Ademola Adekoya, the Coordinator, LASU Centre for Information Press and Public Relations.
EduCeleb.com recalls that Sanwo-Olu had earlier dissolved the University’s Governing Council and suspended the registrar, Muhammed Olayinka in connection with the controversy surrounding the appointment of a substantive Vice-Chancellor in the University.
