A teacher knows that it is difficult to keep students attentive in class especially in the traditional classroom. The various learning styles, collaborative spirit, personal technology are some of the things teachers are adjusting to. Thus the learners have changed and the teaching environment has changed for accommodating them.
Paying proper attention is the first step in learning process. Attention is more than noticing the incoming stimuli that involve number of processes those include balancing multiple perceptions, filtering out the perceptions and also attaching the emotional significance of the perceptions.
For day to day, you need some on the spot strategies that you can count getting students to brighten up, and lean forward. Students should be very attentive in class in order to get better output. Here are some simple strategies those you can pull out your back pocket whenever you require them:
Keep studies as your first priority
If you want good grades in class, you must attend every class. The importance of regular class attendance cannot be overemphasized. Be attentive in class. For students, being successful means achieving the goals and scoring good marks.
Good students do not ignore their studies and keep their studies on topmost priority. Managing their time with friends, family and relatives is also important but not by ignoring your studies as what you have learned will surely remain lifelong with you. One should never neglect time that is meant for studies.
Be attentive in classrooms
Students must always pay attention to what teachers teach in the classroom. This shows your respect towards the teacher and is also useful for students for understanding and grasping the subject easily. This in turn helps to improve your learning skills. Being attentive in class is necessary to become successful in life of a student, see to that your eyes and ears are open whenever your teacher is teaching.
Although it is obvious that it is necessary that the students must love all the subjects but it is important to avoid the distraction nearby you and stay active whenever your teacher is teaching in class. It is always better to listen what your teacher teaches in class rather than chatting with your friends .
Always be punctual. Time management is important in student’s life. The purpose of time management enables students to do better and progressive work in less time. You should always remember that successful students or those who want to be successful in life manage their time so that they have time to study as well as to play.
Be active in school activities and classroom
Participating in class activities in school makes you an active member. Students must actively participate in classroom activities by answering question of your teachers and clearing your doubts. Being attentive helps students to understand the concepts taught in class in a better way.
