This was done during the Class ’96 Re-union ceremony and dinner held in Lagos last Saturday.
The outgoing President of the alumni, Mr Ayobami Oluwajenyo described the position he held as “a service to humanity”.
In his words, “it is a privilege to contribute positively and be able to give back what the society has given us.”
“On behalf of Class’96 Excos (2016-2018), we want to say thank you for tge opportunity and trust to lead the entire group”, he said.
Oluwajenyo however listed some of the achievements recorded so far.
“During our tenure, we were able to prepare the ground, lay the foundation and set the pace.
“We constructed desks that can accommodate 60 pupils, organised tutorials for SS3 students and also presented career leadership talk for students in our Alma Mata.
“Also, we opened and successfully came the group bank account for Class ’96.
“No doubt, we still have a quarter mileage ahead of us, we have the mind to affect the lives among us and give back to our Alma Mata.
“We will continue to identify those that truly need to be empowered among us, and get them established.
“In order to create lasting and memorable projects in our Alma Mater, we will ensure to bring more of our members on board to participate in what we do and also get our group registered and incorporated”, Oluwajenyo noted.

The newly elected are Dr Samuel Oladipo as the President; Mrs Juliet Dosunmu as the Vice President; Mr Ajayi Simpa as the General Secretary.
Others are Mr Ogedengbe Bughe, the Public Affairs Officer; Mr Francis Ojei, the Treasurer; Mr Kingsley Egbenedji, the Publicity Secretary.
During the award presentation at the event, Mr Micheal Sowunmi, Mrs Juliet and Mrs Demi Ojunjobi were respectively awarded the Guilder Angel, Mama of the year and Mrs Never Dull Moment.
