NSUK: 6,323 students matriculated for 2020/2021

A total numbers of 6,323 students for 2020/2021had been admitted across the 8 faculties of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).

The faculties of Natural and Applied Science and that of social sciences topped the list with 1,825 and 1,273 respectively.

Delivering his speech on the 19th matriculation ceremony in the convocation ground of the university, professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed the vice chancellor who also served as the chairman of the 2021 matriculation ceremony said students of the institution are found in learning and character as such it is an expectation from every student to Excell not only in learning but in character.

While congratulating the matriculants, professor Suleiman Bala, charged the on abiding strictly to the rules ,regulations and norms guiding their stay on campus.

He said” The university regulations relates to your conduct in the hostel, classroom and the general university environment with other do’s and don’ts and corresponding deviants.

“These regulations are clearly captured in the university handbook, faculty handbook and departmental handbook

“Students are to desist from all vices, especially indiscipline, cultism and indecent dressing” The VC added.

He further warned against joining any group or secret society on or outside the campus, saying matriculants must shine their eyes and vehemently resist any attempt to be recruited into cult group.
