National Information Technology Whizkids Competition 2018: Call for Entries

The National Information Technology Whizkids Competition is open to students in Private and Public Secondary Schools in Nigeria. It is spearheaded by the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).

The NCS considers the Competition as a development process and encouragement of excellence amongst secondary school students across the country, who are the future leaders of this great nation.

 

Worth

Computer products, cash prizes, scholarship and consolation prizes will be given to winners & all contestants

Eligibility Criteria

Only students from SS1 to SS2 in Nigerian secondary schools are eligible to participate.

Guide for Applicants

All registration is to be done online
Interested Secondary Schools should complete the registration form online for two (2) candidates with evidence of payment of N2, 000.00 (Two thousand naira only per school) registration fee.

Timeline of Stages of the Competition

Stage 1: State Competition at Designated State Centres – 9th May, 2018
Stage 2: Zonal Competition at Designated Zonal Centres – 30th May, 2018
Stage 3: Grand Finale – 18th July, 2018
