Following the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) sex-for-grades investigative documentary released last Monday, a lecturer has challenged his students to expose him if he had ever engaged in sexual harassment.

Aliyu Maigado who teaches in the Department of Animal Science, Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State made the challenge in a Facebook post over the weekend.

He also touched on the extortion of students too and challenged them to expose his culpability, if any.

He wrote thus, “I am Aliyu Maigado, a lecturer with Department of Animal Science, Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State.

“Over the years, I taught several courses and interacted with many students, both male and female.

“If as my student, I ever extort money from you; demanded for or sexually harassed you, between you and your God, kindly report and expose me.”

EduCeleb.com recalls that a BBC documentary on Monday, 7th October exposed some lecturers in the University of Lagos and the University of Ghana sexually exploiting undercover journalists who posed as female students.

Since the report, several students have begun naming and shaming their lecturers alleged to be involved in such unethical behaviour.
