The University of Ibadan (UI) management said it was yet to release the cutoff marks for its 2019/2020 admissions exercise.

It also advised candidates seeking admissions into the institution to ignore “fake news peddlers who are currently circulating fake cut-off marks on the Internet.”

EduCeleb.com learnt that there have been various versions of cutoff marks circulating on the internet since the release of the results of the Post-UTME Screening last week.

A senior admissions officer in the school, Morenike Afolabi promised that the authentic cut-off marks of all the departments will be out in due course.

The official who is also the Undergraduate Admissions Officer promised that the authentic cut-off marks would be out in due course as the Admissions Office was working on it.

Mrs Afolabi, the UI Deputy Registrar lamented the activities of the fake news peddlers, pointing out that their mission was to mislead the candidates and create confusion.
