AAPOLY to hold student union election January 31st

The students’ union election of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, will hold on the 31st of this month.

This development is coming after the National Association of Nigerian Students, Ogun State Chapter, met with the management of the institution recently.

In a statement signed by the state NANS Chairman, Bamgbose Tomiwa, the election campaign will be open between 20th and 27th January.

Screening of aspirants will hold on the 28th, election manifesto will hold on the 30th and election on the 31st.

In his words, “After deliberating with the management of the institution under the leadership of Prof Bilesanmi, the Rector of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic and other management team, the guideline for the conduct of the election is as follows”

“Election campaign 20th-27th January 2020, screening of aspirants 28th of January, manifesto 30th of January, election date 31st of January.”

In the statement the students’ body also admonished all students of the institution to be law abiding during the election

“NANS admonishes all Aapites to be law abiding during the electioneering process and also to conduct themselves in a good manner devoid of conflict or war in the day of election.”

NANS also disclosed that the election timetable for Gateway Polytechnic Sapade will be made available in a shortest period of time.
